Before you decide
I already have years of records in a binder.
You are not starting over. Upload the work you already have and it joins the portfolio alongside everything new, so the year reads as one record instead of two systems.
What happens to my records if I cancel?
They stay yours. You can export everything you have entered as a file at any time, on any plan, including after you cancel. We never hold your children's work behind a payment. What the paid plan produces is the finished packet, not the record itself.
Why is the year-end packet on the yearly plan?
Because it is a yearly document. The monthly plan gives you the whole working product, and the yearly plan adds the thing you hand in once a year. If you are on monthly and want the packet, upgrading will credit what you have already paid that month.
Do I need to pay at all?
Not if you already know what to teach next and your state asks little of you. Plenty of families will print from the free plan for years and that is a fine outcome. You pay at the point you would rather not decide the level yourself every week, or the point an evaluator wants a year of evidence you have not been assembling.
